BEAVER TALES, Trappers, Traders, Mountain Men and Scoundrels is about the early settlement of the American west.  It follows the Joseph Robidou family of St. Louis, Missouri and his descendants on their travels across the Western and Midwestern United States.  The book describes their encounters with many of the famous people of the time and sketches the life of several of these famous people and their accomplishments.  It also documents the Indian offsprings of the Robidou family that were not previously known.  I traveled thousands of miles to research and photograph historical sites for this book.  I traveled the Santa Fe and Oregon Trails and went from New York to New Mexico to Oregon and from there, east across the upper United States.  The book has hundreds of pictures of the forts, people, and other area of the country that go with the stories.  The book is 381 pages and the cost is $17.00.
Joseph Robidoux, The Family Patriarch, is now available.  Many new details and facts were uncovered by viewing hundreds of letters from, to, and about Joseph, that the Missouri Historical Society has in St. Louis.  In addition, many other references were used to document this historically accurate book . What comes through in this new book is the widespread influence that Joseph had on many of the important figures of the time.  He also showed love and compassion for family members and others during his life. tHE COST IS $15.95. The reviews are in.
LOUIS ROBIDOUX, THE PIONEER. The book contains new information on Louis that was not previously known. It also answers many questions about events in his life. The cost is $19.00 which includes postage.
